Rep. of the Congo and Sweden the Director of  TSB has assigned the following signalling area/network codes (SANC) for use in the international part of the signalling system No. 7 networks of these countries/geographical areas, in accordance with ITU-T Recommendation Q.708 (03/99):

International Identification Plan for Public Networks and Subscriptions

E.212 Mobile Country Code (MCC)

The Ministry of Culture, Media and Information Society, Belgrade, and the Ministry of Information Society and Telecommunications, Podgorica announce in this joint communiqué that they have signed an Agreement on the duration of the transition period of common usage of Mobile Country Code (MCC), as follows:

For Montenegro, both Mobile Country Codes (220 and 297) will be used, not later than 31 December 2011. From 1st January 2012, for Montenegro Mobile Country Code 297 will be used, only

The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, The Hague, announces that on 30 September 2011 Sint Maarten has taken the country code +1 721 into use in addition to the existing country code + 599.

This gives a temporal situation of permissive dialling, where either the current country code + 599 or the new country code +1 721 may be used for a dialled number terminating in Sint Maarten.

Administrations are requested to notify ITU about their national numbering plan changes, or to give an explanation on their webpage concerning the national numbering plan as well as their contact points, so that the information, which will be made available freely to all administrations/ROAs and service providers, can be posted on the ITU-T website.

For their numbering website, or when sending their information to ITU/TSB (e-mail: tsbtson@itu.int ), administrations are kindly requested to use the format as explained in Recommendation ITU-T E.129. They are reminded that they will be responsible for the timely update of this information.
