All Administrations and Recognised Operating Agencies (ROA) are requested to ensure that access is given to all national (significant) numbers by notifying the respective telecommunications companies within their country.

The Ministère de la Communication et des Nouvelles Technologies de l’Information, Conakry, announces assignment of the following mobile number series to operator Orange Guinée:

The Agence Nationale de Réglementation des Télécommunications (ANRT), Rabat, announces the update of the national telephone numbering plan of Morocco, a closed ten-digit plan with the following format:

              CC N(S)N

where:

              CC (country code) = +212

              N(S)N (national (significant) number) consisting of nine digits = ZABPQMCDU

I)           International incoming calls

International dialling format:                       CC (212) + N(S)N (nine digits)

In the Kingdom of Morocco it is customary to consider, in the format +212 ZABPQMCDU, the successive digits following a national (significant) number (N(S)N) as being represented by the following letters:

•            Numbers for fixed telephone services

The number blocks for which the value of area code "A" is equal to "5" are reserved for fixed telephone networks and services with restricted mobility.

The list of 0ZABPQMCDU numbers currently allocated to the operator Itissalat Al-Maghrib for its fixed telephone network is as follows:

The list of 0ZABPQMCDU numbers currently allocated for the fixed telephone network (new generation) of operator Médi Telecom is as follows:

With regard to the restricted mobility service, the following number blocks have been allocated to Wana Corporate (Maroc Connect):

0526XXXXXX, 0527XXXXXX, 0533XXXXXX and 0534XXXXXX, with X = 0 to 9

•            Numbers for mobile telephone services

The number blocks for which the value of area code "A" is equal to "6" are reserved for mobile telephone networks.

The list of 0ZABPQMCDU numbers currently allocated for mobile networks is as follows:

II)          National calls

To place a local or national call to a fixed national public telecommunication network subscriber or to a mobile network subscriber, only one format needs to be used: 0ZABPQMCDU.

III)         Calls to special services

To obtain a two- or three-digit special service nationally, the dialling format is as follows:

              1X – where:        X = 5 for the fire service and X = 9 for the police

              1XY – where:     XY = 77 for emergency calls to the gendarmerie royale.

These special services cannot be called from outside the country.

IV)         International outgoing calls

To place an international call from Morocco, dial the international prefix for Morocco, namely "00", i.e. the following format:

              00 CC NDC SN, where:

V)          Fixed non-geographic numbers

These numbers take the form 0ZABPQMCDU, where A = 8.
