Notification of case of possible misuse of numbering resources

(According to Recommendation ITU-T E.156 (05/2006))

Note from TSB Communication of 2.V.2012

Operators noticing fraudulent traffic activity to number ranges +252 70, +252 22, +252 52, +252 54, +670 3305 and +881 8 905 from/via their network are encouraged to block these ranges. National Regulators are requested to check and investigate the legitimacy of activities offered on these number ranges.

Note from TSB Communication of 2.V.2012

Currently the routing for Norfolk Islands is suffering from two types of misuse, the codes are being routed away from the island.  Zeatel would like to request that carriers send all traffic to only two approved gateways which also hold the correct pricing: either to TNZI (Telecom New Zealand International) or to Tata Communications. If this is not possible, please contact Zeatel to arrange an alternative route to the carriers and to also update their pricing to rise to the correct rate for the islands and to remove the island from LCR to prevent future disturbance to the island.
